Mamprugu youth greet the leaders of Mamprugu for successful demonstration

Good morning honorable members on this noble platform,

We will like to say a very big thank you to all sons and daughters of Mamprugu who took time off their busy schedule to ensure our yesterday's historic demonstration became a reality.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the North East Regional Police Commander for exercising professionalism in controlling the crown till the end of the demonstration without any incident. We also thank the youth of Nalerigu for coming out in their numbers to partake in the demonstration. No shop in Nalerigu township opened till the demonstration was over.

We also express our sincere gratitude to our Revered Chiefs, Nba Bunkpurugu Naaba, Nba Lukula-Naaba and Nabi-Azabu for their determination in ensuring this demonstration becomes a reality.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to Nba Wurugu-Naaba, Nba Soo Naaba, Nba Wun-Naaba, Nba Yunyoo-Raana, Nba Pib-Raana, Nba Kpaa-Naaba, Nba Gambaa-Raana, the Nayiri Elders, and all Paramount and Divisional Chiefs in the Mamprugu kingdom who sent their delegations to partake in this historic demonstration.

Also, our heartfelt gratitude goes to our brothers from Sanga traditional area in Burkina Faso for coming all the way from Burkina Faso to partake in this historic demonstration. Our appreciation also goes to our brothers and sisters in Worikambo, Tongo, Gbanni, Bolgatanga and all those that came from the Upper East region to partake in this historic demonstration.

Indeed we have proven to the world that the Mamprugu kingdom extends beyond the North East region to Savannah, Upper East and Upper West regions as well as Burkina Faso and Togo.

The world have now realized that Bawku belong to the Nayiri and is part and parcel of the Mamprugu kingdom.
