Bawku Naa Saa Wuni Bugri (1951-1956) the 12th Bawku-Naaba and son of Bawku-Naa Bugri Manboda the 10th Bawku-Naaba (1922-1935).

 Bawku Naa Saa Wuni Bugri (1951-1956) the 12th Bawku-Naaba and son of Bawku-Naa Bugri Manboda the 10th Bawku-Naaba (1922-1935).

He was enskined as the Bawku-Naaba in 1951 by the 30th King of Mamprugu Naa Sheriga Abdulai father of the reigning King Naa Bohagu Abdulai Mahami Sheriga.

The Bawku Chieftaincy has a very long history and lineage, it started way back at 1721 by Bawku Naa Ali Atabiya son of Naa Atabiya the 10th King of Mamprugu. 

Bawku is in the Mamprugu kingdom and under the jurisdiction of the Nayiri, King of Mamprugu. The Chieftaincy of Bawku did not start in 1957.

If you ever e wondered why the reigning King of Mamprugu Naa Bohagu Abdulai Mahami Sheriga is bent on enskining the Bawku-Naaba, this is the reason. His father successfully enskined two(2) Bawku-Naaba. It's a tradition he was born to meet and he is surely going to continue the legacy.
